Girls with Gears offers plenty of route choices for the beginner rider to the advanced.
Route Descriptions (all routes are completely on the road – no trails are used). All children need to be accompanied by an adult on all rides. While these descriptions still reflect the overall route, mileage of rest stops will likely change.
10 Mile: This route offers gently rolling hills and is great for the beginner rider.
26 Mile: This route offers some moderate hills with a few more challenging hills. It's a nice ride with some beautiful scenery to view along the way. This route has 2 rest stops one at 10 miles and another "potty / water" break at approximately 16 miles. Just a note – the back half of this ride is easier than the front half.
40 Mile: This route is similar to the 25 mile route in that it offers some moderate hills with a few more challenging hills. It too is a nice ride with some beautiful scenery along the way. It utilizes the same rest stops as the 25 mile route except that the first one is at the 20 mile mark for this ride and the second one at the 31 mile mark. Just a note – the back half of this ride is easier than the front half.
62 Mile: This is a hilly ride taking you through some very scenic areas. This ride offers 3 rest stops (at the 20, 40 and 51 mile markers)
